LOGISTICS

• 10 nights of lodging in 3-4 star hotels, restored country manors and B&Bs
• All meals from dinner on the first day through breakfast on the last 
• Your experienced Camino coaches: Lisa Corrado & Kimberly Faith
• Fresco Tours Camino de Santiago expert guides and minibus driver
• Support vehicle along the way (the possibility of shorter routes and pick-up options will be explained on a daily basis)
• All ground transportation between the designated starting and finishing point of the tour
• In Viana de Castelo and Santiago, we will be joined by local art historians (a minimum of 5 people is necessary for this service to be provided)
• Luggage transfers between the hotels
• Limited group size - maximum of 14 

We have the details handled so leave your regular life at home as you experience the simplicity of Camino days. All you have to do is walk and eat. 

 

Not included: Airfare to and from Portugal & Spain, airport taxes / departure fees, visas, or items of personal nature – laundry, phone, luggage surplus charges, medical expenses, bar, tips for our guides/driver, etc.

Fresco Tours can also assist you with travel before and/or after this tour if you’d like to spend more time before or after. 

 

Payment Schedule

A 30% deposit (€2,280) is required by January 3, 2027 in order to secure your spot. This can be split into two payments if desired. 

Remaining balance to be paid in two installments:

April 3, 2027: Second payment of 30% (€2,280)

August 3, 2027: Final Balance, Remaining 40%  (€3,040)

Cancellation policy

Everyone involved in this retreat is a small business. We are partnering with locally-owned lodging. Our mutual commitment to each other means cancellations have a big impact. 

Because of this, cancellations received after the initial payment will incur a fee based on this schedule:

By June 4, 2027: 30% of trip cost

Between June 5 - August 3, 2027: 50% of trip cost

Between August 4 - September 2, 2027: 75% of trip cost

After September 2, 2027: 100% of trip cost

 

No refunds will be issued due to late arrival / early departure / unused portion of a tour.

We strongly encourage you to consider purchasing travel insurance.

 

Rooms

Most rooms are shared with 2 twin beds. Each room has its own bathroom. If you don’t choose a roommate, we will do our best to pair you with a same-gender person. In the event we are unable to pair you up, you agree to pay a single supplement of €549. 

If you desire a single room, please let us know and we will confirm if one is available. The amount of single rooms is very limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. A single supplement of €549 will apply.

 

Important Details

All participants will receive in their confirmation packet and “Assumption of Risk / Liability Waiver” form, which must be signed and received 60 days prior to tour departure or the reservation will be treated as a cancellation.

Fresco Tours reserves the right to change, modify, or cancel a tour prior to departure for any reason, including lack of participants (minimum 6 participants) or acts of nature and/or circumstances beyond our control. In this case, any payments received will be refunded in full and this will constitute full settlement.

Fresco Tours are not responsible for any additional expenses due to a canceled tour, such as the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets.

Fresco Tours reserve the right to accept, refuse, or decline any tour member’s participation at any time for any reason. In such a case, Fresco Tour’s liability is limited to the actual cost of the unused services.

We strongly suggest the purchase of travel and trip cancellation / interruption insurance, as we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy.

Additionally, Lisa Corrado Coaching (the DBA for Eating Well LLC) is not the travel program operator. Lisa Corrado Coaching does not own or operate any entity which provides goods or services for your program including, for example, lodging, airline, vessel, or other transportation companies, guides, ground operators, providers or organizers of excursions, food service or entertainment, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, Lisa Corrado Coaching is not liable for any act, failure to act, financial failure or other defaults of any such person, entity, supplier or any other third party. In addition and without limitation, Lisa Corrado Coaching is not responsible for any injury, financial or other loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God, force majeure, acts of governments, denial or delay of entry into any country, acts of war or civil unrest, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind or the threat thereof, sickness, illness, epidemics or the threat thereof, the lack of availability of or access to medical attention or the quality thereof, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of any means of transportation, or for any failure to arrive or depart timely or safely.
