Every journey starts
with a few questions.
Here are the answers to some of the ones you might have.
How is this different from other retreats?
I love a retreat. Over the years I’ve hosted and attended lots of retreats. This one is different from any I’ve done before, because it’s inspired by the simple days of walking the Camino de Santiago. Instead of a packed agenda, we have a spacious, easy rhythm of walking, eating, connecting, and having fun. There’s also a healthy dose of quiet time so that you can integrate the experience while you’re still in the experience. Â
Will I be able to do all of the walking?
Notice I keep using the word "walk." We're not running or doing really challenging hikes - speed and difficulty are not the point. I have a long list of trail options that I'll finalize once I know who's coming. We'll challenge your legs just enough to quiet your mind.
I already walk regularly - how is this different?
Our walks will be a little different than what you might be used to at home. We're not just walking out the door, phone in hand, podcast/audiobook/playlist cued up. We'll use an intentional framework I've designed that will help you get to clarity & answers more quickly. Once you learn this, it's in you and something you can bring home to keep playing with.
Where will we stay?
Flexibility is the name of the game with this retreat. We have two first-come, first-served bedrooms available in the house we're using as our home base. They're priced to be less than a hotel in Boulder. If you prefer more alone time, you'll get a list of recommended lodging options once you register. Lodging is not included in the retreat pricing.
What is included in the pricing?
- All meals/snacks/beverages, starting with the welcome dinner and ending with lunch on the last day. Dietary restrictions/preferences are accommodated.
- Activities, including a breathwork session and art session.
- Gifts/surprises/treats
Not included: Your travel costs, lodging, trip insurance and the like
Will I fit in? What are the other people like?
I work with curious, kind, supportive, open-minded, heart-centered people. People who take responsibility for their own personal growth. I also do a great job at curating groups, so that there's good fit and flow. The retreat is open to all humans.
