I’ve made the decisionApr 14, 2023
As you read this today, I’ve started my Camino de Santiago journey, walking across Spain for 500+ miles.
As I’m writing this (April 7), I’ve just made the decision that I am ready for this.
This morning I had a clarity download that I’ve done everything I need to in order to be able to do this. Have I done everything I planned to do? Nope. But I’ve done enough and that’s all that matters.
This past year I’ve really tapped into the power of making a decision. I mean truly making the decision, not deciding to decide or getting ready to get ready. Knowing without a doubt that you’ve chosen something.
Truly making a decision gave me the most amazing travel experience, it connected me with new clients and resources to help me with fun stuff I have coming up (I can’t wait to tell you about deciding to host a retreat along the Camino de Santiago next year and almost immediately and completely unexpectedly finding a fellow UConn alum whose business is literally doing this).
There’s a really fun sense that the Universe is right by my side, waiting for me to ask for what I want so it can give it to me. Like there’s no greater joy than giving me everything I’ve decided I’ve wanted.
You can do this too - everyone can. I don’t really know how I do it, but it tends to happen when I’m tuned into what I want and I give myself space & grace to sit with it. Then there’s a shift, a knowing, and an almost-audible click. I’m sure all of the meditation I do helps prime this pump.
Play with this yourself. Give yourself regular quiet time to meditate and contemplate what you want. Get tapped in and see how this process works for you. The next time you have the experience of truly knowing what you want/making that decision, act on it right away. Go for it. The more you do, the more you’ll be able to. That much is clear.
