As you’re reading this, I’m in Texas spending several days with my coach and my peers. One of my favorite things about running my own business is spending time in community with other high-achieving business owners. These people elevate me and help me fly higher than I would on my own. Plus they’re some of the coolest cats on the planet.
The people around you matter. It’s been said that you’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with. This is why I love coaching groups like this; I’m hanging out with people who raise me up and motivate me to be even better.
Take a few minutes to think about who you’re spending your time with. If you’re always the smartest/happiest/highest achieving person in the room, it might be time to change rooms.
